It is fair to say that there is a lot of money in the whisky industry. Japanese dram giants Suntory are more than proving this fact by sending a batch of whiskies up to the International Space Station in the name of science!
Whilst this may have been done before, it still is hard to believe, but here’s the proof:

Apparently, this exercise is being undertaken to examine the effects of gravity on the mellowing process, but with that kind of money and marketing involved, all we really want to know is how much will it cost to have a space-aged whisky!?!
How will they stop the astronauts from drinking it?
